For the Constructivists there is no truth or a single real world, but there are different versions of reality and the world, as many as there are individuals, since everyone has an active part in building reality itself, based on its beliefs, its values and its mental schemes.
Experiential Learning is a learning model based on experience, be it cognitive, emotional or sensory.
The learning process is achieved through the action and experimentation of situations, tasks, roles in which the subject, active protagonist, finds himself putting his own resources and skills to work for the elaboration and/or reorganization of concepts aimed at achieving a goal.
Experiential learning allows the subject to deal with situations of uncertainty by developing adaptive behaviours and, at the same time, improving the ability to manage their own emotions in moments of greater psychological stress.
It also allows you to develop your problem-solving skills, also through creative skills, and to be an active protagonist both individually and in group activities (team building). The experience thus acquired becomes the subject's knowledge heritage and will constitute the new starting point for further evolutions.
The experiential training involves learning based on the experimentation of real situations, the performance of tasks and the action of roles by the participant in the session. The moment of greatest learning for individuals is childhood: for this reason, learning by doing an experience, putting into practice a new skill, even playing, is effective even in adulthood.
In details:
Home care for families
Support and coaching in the choice of the suitable dog, the selection of the breeder or shelter, support aimed at making it easy to raise a puppy, welcome a new dog, deal with uncomfortable situations such as anxiety, hyperactivity, excessive fear, aggression and much more. The courses are individual, customized to the needs of each family, at the applicant's home.
Behavioral assessments
Meetings dedicated to investigating the deep motivations from which unwelcome attitudes or behavior indicators of a dog's malaise arise; evaluations of guests of shelters and kennels, in order to improve their adoptability or stay in the structure.
Coaching for trainers
(Civil Protection, Public Assistance, sports disciplines, etc.)
Collaboration aimed at facilitating the relationship of the couple and performance.
Dog being workshops
The objective of the workshops is to lead the participants towards an awareness of the experiences that a dog has during his life; the simulation of contexts and situations will bring people closer to the canine perceptual universe so as to develop a better understanding of the animal's needs and strengthen the relational bond of the binomial. The training experience lived by each participant can then be used as a relational model with dogs, since the cognitive-pedagogical processes are the same for all animals.
